About Arjan Kapteijns
Project X is the independent initiative of Arjan Kapteijns. Arjan has over twenty years of experience working at the intersection of brand, marketing, strategy and organization.
He supports organizations - from established brands to start-ups, scale-ups and public institutions - in navigating complex challenges where growth, change and innovation converge. That experience has led to one clear conviction: sustainable growth does not start with tools, campaigns or solutions, but with clear direction and the ability to make meaningful choices.
From this belief, Arjan developed brand- and concept-driven marketing into both a way of thinking and a way of working, helping organizations choose direction and make that direction actually work. This forms the core of Project X.
Previously, Arjan served as CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi | Leo Burnett and Publicis Groupe Netherlands, where he led creative renewal and digital transformation.
Alongside Project X, he is a Client Partner at VIM Group | Team Farner, supporting organizations through large-scale rebrand and brand-change trajectories: complex transformation processes where strategy, brand and operations come together.
As a lecturer, speaker and author, Arjan shares his insights on brand transformation and marketing innovation at national and international stages, conferences and in publications.
